Do your homework. If you are new in the area or are looking for a new repair shop, start asking your friends and associates now for their recommendations. You are more likely to make a good decision when you are not rushed into it.

It's relatively simple and can save you thousands of dollars over buying new cars every few years. 1. Don’t drive – Walk, ride a bike, ride share, carpool.
2. Maintain proper tire pressure – Use highest range shown on tire/owners manual
3. Maintain your vehicle – Keep filters clean, fluids clean, belts tight, repair leaks and no check engine lights.

Before you take a trip be sure that your vehicle is up-to-date on factory recommended servicing.  Special attention should be taken to assure that the heating and engine cooling systems are in good working order and that your battery is well within its warranty period and in good condition.
